Ice-Blok is a synthetic "ice" rink based at the Cockhedge Shopping centre in Warrington town centre. We were the first permanently based synthetic ice rink in the UK and the first to be recognized by the NISA (National Ice Skating Association). We are a family run business with friendly helpful staff. We offer packages from single person costs to group bookings. Our 5***** star cafe offers a range of drinks and food such as hotdogs, chips and pizza. Whether you are young or old, a skater or spectator we cater for all. We have disabled facilities ( If you have a disabled guest please contact us so we can arrange a fun session for them). What is synthetic ice?

Synthetic ice is the name given to a synthetic material intended to substitute ice as a skating surface.

Its a specially formulated type of plastic.

Its environmentally friendly.

The ice skates are the same as you would use at a any ice rink (caution please as they are quite sharp).

Its not cold and wet just a little moist.

The surface will never melt and will last for years and doesn't degrade with heavy use, no re-surfacing necessary.

Its treated with a secret glide solution. (Treatment is not hazardous or toxic).
